I never claimed to be higher than you. I'm no better. But the differences is that God has opened my eyes. He can open yours too, if only you realize that you are broken. That you can't make it without him, and beleive that Jesus's death was enough to pay your debt. God is beyond anyones comprehension. I didn't meet him through the bible, I met him when I was trying to kill myself as a child. I wanted no part in this world, and he stopped me and told me that I didn't have to, that through the holy spirit, I can help start a revolution, and bring people into a new? existance. One where pain, suffering and chaos will not exist. The only reason I can know him is because of the holy spirit that was given to me. Which is the very essence of Gods power.

How would you know that GOD did that, or is like that? How can you? CLAIM to know an all-powerfull-all-knowing being that is beyond anything me, you, or anyone who wrote any type of religious text could possibly imagine with our feeble minds? I believe that's a very arrogant, even ignorant type of thinking. GOD, if IT exists, is so much more than that, or the simple concept of death or sin or whatever your religious text advertises IT to be.

LOL yes true, when trains approach bridges, ESPECIALLY that kind of bridge, they move significantly slower. ie a boat may come in the last minute or any other reason. Where ever the controls for the bridge are would have some kind of exit route. And there would always be more? than one person operating the station.......lol.....

What a complete load of bollocks. Firstly, no self respecting smack-head would have dropped spoon, even if they had seen the child decapitated right in front of them. To make out that letting his son die somehow saved this woman is absolute fallacy. Secondly. Pretty sure there would be some safety device in place to stop the train or? at least, alert the driver. A bridge like that doesn't rely on the ineptitude of one douchebag dad. Thirdly, this doesn't even work as an allegory.No resurrection.

Because God is Just, he didn't want us to be slaves. He didn't want us to feel trapt. It wouldn't mean much to God if we were programed to love him and worship him. But when we choose to love, worship, and serve him, it's a whole other story. Were telling him that we know that the only alternative is death, and that he is all we need, and that he is all we want.
