How to make a splitboard - Part 1

Here is how I made my Splitboard. I used a Salomon Tracker. If you have any questions please let me know and do not attempt this unless you know what you are doing....this was just for fun :-) This is only the first half. Make sure you watch the second part for all the details. I have used the board now and it functioned perfectly!

I have only ridden a factory split a couple times and I really just enjoy being able to split a board you know you like. I recently moved to Florida, so I? am no longer in Utah so I will be missing out on the snow this year. Have fun out there.

Do all your measuring for hardware after you cut the board in half. Make sure your cut is? clean, put the board back together and finish the measurements for the rest of the hardware. Have fun!

After you have the board in two pieces I would think that since your circular? saw blade takes away about 1/8" or material/board and the hacksaw blade removes much less, you would have a gap down the middle of the board. How do you avoid that?

Sorry I don't have a video of me using it, I will try to make one in the future. The board has been great so far. The stiffness of the board is the same as it was before and I don't mind not having an inside edge for skinning since I live in Utah. I did it over a period of 3 days, but you can do it in 6-8 hours or? even less if you are not waiting for things to dry. Next time I make one I will definitely do it in one day then let the epoxy dry over night and finish the bottom the next day. :-)

- you are correct that what is translated hell is really just the grave... but there is really is a lake of fire. If you read Isaiah's prophecies... as well as Revelation... you see that death is not the place of torture... but there will be one.. it's the Valley of Himnon. That sounds really good, but in my experience leads to very subjective interpretation of Scripture. I have friends who almost REFUSE to read Scripture and almost mock me that I am unable to simply "receive from the Spirit". They often laugh and ask what will I do if all bibles? are confiscated? We are supposed to CONFIRM Scripture with Scripture. Like the Bereans of Act 17:11, any concept the church teaches should be CONFIRMED by the Tanakh. OT, NT and Rev MUST agree!

My apologies if you cover this material elsewhere but I have two questions: 1) Do you define the rapture like the church does: believers go to heaven and miss the tribulation and 2) what do you think about the material that details the rapture as a fairly recent invention stemming from the dreams of some girl. bear this? in mind: Christ clearly established a pattern at His first coming and that pattern is, He fulfilled the holy days both one the exact day and in unbroken succession this is truth. we know this to be true. Therefore we know through the scripture that the fall holy days will also be fulfilled in unbroken succession so if the rapture is to occur on tishri 1, then it will be occuring exactly 10 days before the second coming and this proves there is no pre-trib rapture think about it

It may not seem like a hard sport,, but if you think about? it curling is actually a really hard sport, those rocks they push are pretty heavy and its on ice, the slightest turn of the rock will ruin the whole plan, and to add on that the sweeping of the ice can determine how far the rock goes and how the rock turns so you have to know how long and how to sweep the ice in order for it to go where you want it to go.

Uhm... thats not simultaneous. He does the push with his outer skate then as he steps? back over he pushes with his inner skate and kind of leans over then catches himself and does it again on the other side. He's not pushing off with both skates at the same time. You're pushing off 4 times every cycle instead of 2 with normal skating techniques. Hence the name double push.

After coming crossing to Haiti from the Dominican Republic I spent some time going around Port-au-Prince, and even took a trip to the sacred Saut d'Eau waterfall. erg along as we visit landmarks, marketplaces, and have a general good time.

Am a Nigerian born in France but i live in the UK. My parents are from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria. They told me that alot of Igbo's were deported to Haiti during slavery. They always pray for their brothers in Haiti. During the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, the Igbo community here in the UK made contributions for their Haitian brothers. I love Haiti so much.? I am Haitian. It has been 8 months since the earthquake. People around? the world sent money for Haiti. We have 8 million unemployed people. Those people could have helped cleaning the debris. It is a crime and a shame. I am not talking about reconstruction. I am talking about cleaning. Is it the Haitian government or the World Bank who does not want to release the funds? I went there and spent also 3 days in Dr for the holidays and had a blast. port-au-prince and gonaives was sick.
