How about you come back with a more plausible cause of coronary diesease, such as OVER eating (irrelevant of source) of fats, little movement (poor efficiency), parasites and bacteria damaging the intima, etc. Also - how come arabs which eat lots of meats and little vegetables live up to 90 years old (when they? eat little) and die of coronary heart disease when they eat more? The amount of food is more relevant.
By: 52111centrumcz. on 18 May 12, 16:29:27
And also how about arabs that eat dates and milk and meat? with a little rice - and live to 70 or 80 years old.
By: 52111centrumcz. on 18 May 12, 16:27:21
How about you come? back once you have something relevant to say. I see it in roughly 217985 A.D.

Insect protein as sustainable? support for improvement. Enjoy. Pawel Karrainski. Ps.For every word we call we may think 7 wrong. This guy is either Full of Shit, or doesn't know what the fuck hes talking about. surprising cause most people on TED are? quite excellent. Hes yet another fear mongering twat hiding behind a strong sense of moral superiority with NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE! how do people buy into this stuff?? ..... DO some research .. " Methane is 20 times more poisonous than CO2" that's probably true because C02 is NOT poisonous!!!!

And as you asked on the initial post re China study. A very large review was conducted on it by a Vegan non dairy eater like yourself incase you think theres some bias which as i said showed the inherent contradictions Due to YT not allowing direct links . The direct link can be found by looking for blog raw foods the china study? fact or fallacy referenced and massively thorough. Mr campbell instead of addressing the points then attacked the author. Make of that what you will.
By: Donal277. on 07 Apr 12, 01:36:22
And yes finally before i lose patience. You sir have a burden of proof as you made a health claim.....its not a parlour trick. Its a simple scientific consense that if Y says X is true they need to show why X is true. You may very well be correct that X is true but me asking you to provide evidence for this is basic dialogue for establishing what is true. Evidence will dictate if its true not you repeating it. So where is again i ask your evidence for this certain stance?? Peer review please.
By: Donal277. on 07 Apr 12, 01:32:38
I agree its established that meat consumption is bad for the environment , this is a clear fact Whats not is the impact of meat consumption with health Theres a few weak epi studies which imply it and others which contradict. If clear evidence comes to the fore il? be the first to support you. (and then genes may cause some to be at risk with meat and others not) How does your unproven hypothesis fit (meat is bad) with meat eating African tribes with no cardiovascular disease? Many holes my friend
By: Donal277. on 07 Apr 12, 01:25:14
Im saying your claims require evidence - im not making a claim myself merely pointing out the lack of evidence thus far.The previous thinking was cholesterol caused it, now its merely believed to be a player, when multiple studies show a reversed inverse contradictory relationship what you should do is take time to critical evaluate previous studies and designs. Also you need to back up your claims on meat and dairy. Your? evidence for this ? And personal stories is not empirical evidence.
By: vabyss78. on 07 Apr 12, 01:05:23
Your pedestrian parlor trick of misdirection entailing putting the burden of proof on me while providing none of your own will work on a few people looking for words to validate their? behavior of sanctioning genocide for gluttony, but no one with a true gift of perception. Consumption of meat is disastrous for health and the planet. Next you're going to tell us that the clearing of rain forest and methane emissions from meat production is good for the planet, right?
By: vabyss78. on 07 Apr 12, 01:01:32
You're more intelligent than the average shill, or at least a better writer, but do you expect us not to notice that you have yet to provide a single study of your own backing what YOU say? Going vegan changed my health and my life. I look ten years younger? than my age, each of my athletic performances improved, and my mood is stellar almost constantly. The only thing that really gets me bent out of shape anymore is seeing some lying serpent spreading information that kills.
By: Donal277. on 06 Apr 12, 23:14:22
Once more i would be be happy for you to show me definite studies, both epid and clinical outlining your meat and dairy links Furrthermore id like some outlines of the molecular pathways of how they cause CHD. Perhaps you missed the section in the? medical books i read where it says its not currently understood but a number of factors are correlated Rule 1 of medical research correlation is not causation. Your CHD without meat and dairy being negligible is horrifically wrong. Check out Asia.
By: Donal277. on 06 Apr 12, 23:10:59
Hi i actually study CHD. Atherosclerosis is the main cause. Previously epi studies showed correlative links, however a raft of countries showed no links between meat intake, cholesterol? and then athero and finally chd. Any study so far is merely suggestive, it is not fully understood and impossible currently to nail down one factor which is a definite cause. Whats more cholesterol and its intake are now more believed a reaction (to inflammation) rather than the previous thought cause .
By: vabyss78. on 06 Apr 12, 22:43:08
I do not engage in debates with vile, subhuman filth. You are a propagandist, the lowest form of life to ever curse this planet besides perhaps child rapists. You will live out a miserable existence and eventually die, despised and without honor or integrity. It is the inevitable fate of your kind. Coronary disease would be a negligible cause of death without meat and dairy consumption. To deny this is either dishonest or moronic. Try your filth on someone not pursuing a? medical degree.
By: Donal277. on 06 Apr 12, 22:18:43
Could you point out what exactly you are referring to or are you denying? there is data which conflicts. If you read it its not very controversial to say in some regions the data (which is only questionnaires) showed conflicts with other regions. Or have you not read 1 of the 1000 peer reviews?
By: vabyss78. on 06 Apr 12, 20:01:40
What unbelievable horseshit. How do? you look at yourself in the mirror?
By: vabyss78. on 06 Apr 12, 19:59:08
And your credentials are? Meat and dairy are not only the most toxic things to our health, but the cultivation of them are the most toxic things? to our planet. Anyone that does not understand this by this point and time is either lazy or stupid. The information is readily available. I am also saying this about myself because I took FAR too long to become a vegan. Stop being selfish, thoughtless cretins and do something for your people and your home. It's the only one we have.
By: jerramy. on 02 Apr 12, 11:03:16
Ok, I get your point, but about the Greek yoghurt thing, I live in Greece? so my Greek yoghurt really is Greek.
By: AshFeawen. on 02 Apr 12, 00:39:00
Greek yoghurt is as greek as french fries are french - it's just the namewe give to strained yoghurt. We can have some small farms, but on a global? scale if it was only small farms/organic produce we couldn't grow enough to feed the world, because the efficiency isn't perfect, nature is left to its own devices more. His wording made it sound like he was discouraging against any animal products, which I found a bit restrictive, or vague regarding dairy products,I wasn't sure if he was including them.
