i love your reviews for space marine. you really know what your talking about and you dont sound like a pompous ass while you do it. i tend to find the multiplayer on space marine more fun than the call of duty multiplayer but im also playing on PS3 not steam so there maybe quite a few differences. also the assualt marine is loads more fun when you get a hold of how relic designed them to be played so dont? give up on them just because it is hard to control.also check out space marine: kill team

I don't see the big deal with the DLC since Kasumi was originally a core crew member in ME2 and I didn't hear a small uproar about that. For the most part people? did miss a small amount of the story without Javik and either way people got the Prothean VI. I also don't see the problem with DLC adding DLC since its the norm for video games while it was also done with ME1 and ME2.

And in addition, assuming the DLC didn't change the image, everyone got to see a Prothean anyway without? buying the DLC. The VI that you find on Thessia shows what they actually look like. People missed a bit of story, but that's about it. You could also view this as EA trying to raise the prices of games in an acceptable way. Rather than charging $70 to everyone who wanted ME3, and losing some customers, they made some perhaps crucial revenue of those with more disposable income.

The slippery slope argument is a poor one. While I would definately boycott a game that holds back key content, or goes "pay-to-win", it was fairly obvious what this content was going to be ahead of time. It? was a little bit of fanservice for longtime players and it allowed EA to make a little bit extra. I was willing to pay $10 to not only see a Prothean, but reward the dev that made my favorite game series. I understand his reasoning, but slippery slope has always been a poor argument.

Games published by Ubisoft are mostly good, but in the case of AC for example (They're big name series titles), they will be milked at the worst. For the? most part, they would handle the W40k license well, but if it ever got popular, it would be exploited like a high class whore, much like Halo, Gears, Battlefield and even *shudders* CoD. I'd MUCH rather have Ubisoft work the license than Fascist number 1: EA, and Fascist Number 2: Activision. Think of Ubisoft as a Monarch mostly.

The power sword is available in multiplayer, as a DLC. I agree that this game could use a flamer, it would probably also be more balanced than the melta in multiplayer. Hell, imagine an assault marine with a flamer pistol... The vengence launcher is? a generally fun weapon to use, though it would be nice if it did more damage per ammo than it currently does.

Not to mention, despite everyone repeating it ad infinitum, WoW is not a gear based game, nor DPS/HPS meter based, (some bossfights excempt of course). A good raider that keeps out of it-will-kill-you areas? is a lot better than top geared max craft level 100 flask brainless runner who is only obsessed with sustaining their DPS/HPS, and our guild found that out the hard way. Yeah, you'll have advantage with gear, but you really don't need to play much in a week due to raid-instance/week schedule.

Um, very easily? As i said, the game didn't need more commitment than a few hours a week at best. Sorry to hear that you had issues with the game, but i think that's more attributable to being obsessed about playing the game than the game? itself, or hardcore / progression raiding, which is, like i said, what i did in the game. For the first 4 or so months, though, i did play pretty much non stop aswell, since i leveled 3 characters to full, but since that, it just got to raiding and instances.

Ok, then how much were you actually out of the house when all this was going on, because between my guild duties and my personal duties inside the World of Warcraft I was forced? to spend all of my free time on the game. I had to quit because it was ruining my life. I lost my girlfriend, I lost alot of my friends, I was never around for family functions like birthday parties or reunions because I had to keep up with my responsibilities in the game I was the best geared heals I knew of when I quit

Also landing first ICC means nothing. We landed first everything on our server, and the reason for that was that we raided in the afternoon, from around 5 pm to 8pm, though sometimes that stretched further, or shorter, depending on instances and group compositions. We allowed a lot of more casual + pvp oriented players in the guild on bigger? raids if we were lacking people, and we still managed just fine.

I played both offtank and a healer in said guild, though since our maintank had a life, just like everyone else in the? guild, as well as a wife, not like everyone else in the guild, sometimes he was absent and i main tanked in rotation with our other offtanker. I also had a druid with gear for both healing and melee, as well as talents. Note that this was before the dual talent system, so i needed to toss in 50~G every time i swapped talents. Getting this amount took upwards to an hour.

My best guild was on Zul'Jin server we were in the first 10 to clear ICC back in wrath I didn't pay fees in this guild but I have been in guilds like that before, and yes I had to grind dailies to make money so I could fix my armor we didn't? have the money automatically going into the guild bank like they have now and buy potions the guild provided food but guess who the cook was? but at least the guild provided free enchants...but as the healer guess who usually got stuck farming the mats :|

Umm...I was a hardcore raider for 3 years...I'm speaking from my personal experience of endgame World of Warcraft you have to be on at a certain time every week to run an instance. When your not online you are doing dailies to save money for repairs, gems, potions, and sometimes food unless the guild provides. Some guilds you have to pay a fee or collect so many resources a week to raid and if your the guild enchanter/tank/healer(like I was). then you are usually obligated to farm enchants? :|

Uhh... have you been watching Fox news or something a little in the excess? I played WoW from vanilla to second expansion (Wrath of the Lich King), and apart from? the leveling progress (Which to me was the most enjoyable part), as a progression raider (someone who you would call ''seriously playing WoW'') it roughly required 4-5 hours per week from me. Judging by the fact you could make the assumption that I was talking about WoW proves my point. Yes,? WoW has alot of cool toys and trinkets but at the end of the day you have to admit that if you want to play WoW seriously it becomes a repetitive chore that must be addressed daily. You must plan your activities around WoW in which WoW takes precedence over all other aspects of your life. You must also follow a chain of command while playing WoW. A couple o' things: Onyxia didn't die in Vanilla, nor did she resurrect in WotLK, According to the most recent Ret-Cons, she is killed by Varian Wrynn (solo) a little after he returns to Stormwind, and the Onyxia fight at lvl 80 never happened lore-wise, it was just a "bonus" raid by Blizzard to celebrate... something I quite can't remember. And Ony & Nef were rezzed 'cause Cata without em is like WotLK without Kel'Thuzad. They're important characters related? to the big bad.

I enjoyed this clip. TB has an opinion, makes a point, then supports it with examples or observations. It's getting harder and harder to find such structured comments on the net. If I have one criticism about the presentation, it would be not mentioning the impact of piracy on potential sales, and the perceived need for some sort of DRM. Then as? a counter-argument, TB can bring up CDProjeckt's Witcher 2 as evidence of a product that is commercially successful, despite high piracy volumes.

Even though I am an allround gamer and not to mention the fact that I like TotalBiscuit, the only real point he made in this video is the digital distribution market. Yeah we all know by now. Pc is far superior to console, especially when you talk about? graphical termns.
