I think it's a bit strange how Combo is meant to be about 30 years old. while the others are what 19? Lol and Woody are 19 or 20. so is? Milky. because in 88, they are nearly 25. making Combo ten years older than them. Lol had a relationship with Combo, when he was 17. No idea how that happened since she would of been what 8 when he was 17. a few errors made there. still it's an excellent film. and 86 and 88, or also brilliant.

What are you talking about 'lone wolf'?! A lot of the different fashions had a soundtrack to them and a movement behind them type of thing like punk, skins with ska, new romantics. We've not had anything like that for a long time, people do still dress differently obviously individuals but we just don't have as many established? fashions or however you'd word it properly.

Yeah, I know where Cardiff is. I am in Cali. There is actually a pic of the Santa Cruz boys (Centurians) in Spirit of '69. I like ska, but the majority of skins I know really stay with the traditional line of Northern Soul and Skinhead Reggae though. I definitely don't have any rose-tinted glasses, though. I guess guys out here are just more into the traditionalism. Yeah we have all kinds of guys calling themselves skins, but real skins don't consider? them to be.

Are you kidding? This movie was like a skinhead soundtrack! Not sure where you were in '83, but the friggin film opened with Toots 54-46 for christ's sake! Though I love the song, I was a bit relieved that Liquidator, Moonstoomp and Israelites were not on the soundtrack as it would have been? almost too cliche. I think he made great music choices.

This is England 86 is bang on with everything mate that is exactly the same time when I had just left school and my sister was a skin head and wore the same style of cloths and listend to the same music . I loved the series as it reminded me of the good old days. Yet another powerful and gripping series by Shane Meadows .I bet all the cast will go onto more greatness and I wonder If? he will do This Is England 90 ,It's just a thought ......what do you think

The Fire Extinguisher scene is still absolutely incredible to this day. Totally convincing as well having unfortunately since then witnessing bits of 3 guys 1 hammer.. The French SFX guys sure are? masters of their craft. A superb film.

.........the guy came in but said it was "straight from the BOLC and out of his hands". Officially, the film was not so much banned, as "refused classification", and every film must be classified for it to be screened. It couldnt be "R" because of the explicit sex and it couldnt be NVE (non violent erotica) because of the violence, putting it in the twilight zone. At my screening it was stopped about half way through the film, just? after the scene where they get pulled over for a breath test and end up shooting both the police officers dead. The guy came in to apologise but said

I ask because sometimes it seems no matter what the outcome, some people will still take their chances, but some of these violent rape scenes have the tendency to 'linger in our minds' longer than one might think.? Nor will you. It was banned in 2002 and never went to DVD. I watched it at the cinema in 2002 and? half way through the movie they pulled the plug. The audience was spewing! The trouble is it cant be an R movie because of the explicit sex, and it cant be NVE because of the violence, so it dosent fit into any category.
